Teradek’s Camera to Cloud updates aim to streamline filmmaking workflow and simplify cloud sharing. The ecosystem comprises the encoder, the Serv 4K, or Serv Micro, which connects to the camera to pull metadata such as file name, timecode, and color pipe information.
Teradek’s Link AX, a Wi-Fi 6 router, offers a rugged design with V-mount battery plates and mounting points, making it suitable for production. Up to 20 cameras can connect to the router, allowing local producers to monitor the shoot. The router also offers a link to the cloud, which makes use of Teradek Data, a service that switches automatically between providers for the best service in the area.
