The F2s are officially done. Basically it was a short exercise to get us used to working with film. The entire crew was from the first year class, so this time we got to do all the fun jobs like directing, cinematographer, production designer, etc. It was a short, half day shoot with half a roll of film for a final two minute movie. They’re not meant to be amazing shorts, just a fun exercise to lower the intimidation of not knowing what your image will look like immediately (we actually had to wait a good month to find out).
Next week is our summer week off, then it’s off to shoot thesis films for the second years and our return to going below the line.
