Tyrants vs Committees [Quote]

I’m defending my documentary today, so a quick quote I really liked from Art & Copy.

I’d rather deal with a tyrant than a committee any day. Committees are there to spread blame, not take chances.

Yes, I’m saying directors are tyrants. But tyrant in the “one voice, one vision” sense, not “execute a production assistant on the first day of set to assert my authority” sense.

At least tyrants come with names:
